注意过去式、过去分词及现在分词，l可以双写，也可以不双写。
travel与tour都可以表示旅游，对应的游客分别为travel(l)er和tourist。

a few只能修饰可数名词复数形式，与之对应的是a little, 只能修饰不可数名词。
重点句型
1、Simon lives near school. He goes to school by bus. It takes him about ten minutes.
Simon lives far away from school.
注意对交通方式的划线提问用How，对时间段划线提问用How long。
提炼句型“It takes somebody sometime to do something”意为“某人花了……时间做某事”。如：
It takes him about half an hour to do his homework．他花了半个小时做作业。
也可以用somebody spends sometime(in)doing something／on something(某人花费……时间做某事)来表示相同的意思。如：He spends half an hour on his homework．他花了半个小时做作业。
take是以it为主语的，而spend是以人作主语的。
2、How do you go to school? How long does it take?
如果对“It takes somebody some time to do something”中的时间段some time划线提问，应该用How long。如： It will take me more than a week to read the book．(就划线部分提问)
How long will it take you to read the book?
3. Draw the things you see on your way to school. 把你在上学路上所看到的东西画下来。
on one’s way (to)意为“在某人去某地的路上”。例如：
on my way to the park在我去公园的路上 on her way to the factory在她去工厂的路上
on his way to the cinema在他去电影院的路上
在这类短语中，如果由副词here, home, there等来表示地点，则不用介词to。例如：
on my way home在我回家的路上 on her way there在她去那的路上
