上海发展研究基金会是1993年由原上海市市长黄菊宣布成立的。
上海发展研究基金会属于公募基金会，是利用自然人、法人或者其他组织捐赠的财产，以从事公益事业为目的，按照国家有关规定成立的非营利性法人。
上海发展研究基金会以积极推进经济、社会、城市发展决策咨询事业为宗旨；以募集、运作资金，研究、交流、资助、奖励经济、社会、城市发展决策咨询项目为业务范围。
十几年来，上海发展研究基金会大力支持本市决策咨询研究工作，资助了许多研究项目，并资助开展了五届上海市决策咨询研究成果奖评奖工作。
今后，上海发展研究基金会将继续支持本市决策咨询研究工作，组织和资助有关项目的研究，继续资助上海市决策咨询研究成果奖评奖工作，搭建新的以“上海发展”为主题的系列研究交流平台，即“上海发展论坛”、“上海发展沙龙”和“上海发展讲坛”，为推进本市决策咨询事业发展作出不懈努力。
上海发展研究基金会现由汪道涵先生、庄晓天先生任名誉理事长，原市人大常委会副主任沙麟先生任理事长。其业务主管单位为上海市人民政府发展研究中心。
About us
Shanghai Development Research Foundation (SDRF) was founded in1993, announced by Huang Ju, who was the former Mayor of Shanghai.
As a public offering foundation, SDRF is a non-profit legal entity, witch make a good use of the property donated by nature person, legal entity and other organizations to serve the public welfare.
The Aims of SDRF are to actively promote the decision-making consultation and our main fields is to raise and run funds, to research, exchange ideas of, support and award projects about Shanghai’s research work of decision consultation on the fields including economy, society and city development.
Since founded, SDRF has greatly promoted Shanghai’s research work of decision consultation, supported many research projects and supported the process of the 5th Shanghai research work of decision consultation evaluation work.
For the future, SDRF will continue to promote Shanghai’s research work of decision consultation, to organize and support researches on relate projects and to supported the evaluation of Shanghai’s research work of decision consultation. SDRF shall establish a new platform for exchange ideas and research on the topic of Shanghai’s development, witch contains Shanghai Development Forum, Shanghai Development Salon and Shanghai Development Lecture. And thereby SDRF will ever do its best to promote Shanghai’s research work of decision consultation.
SDRF’s honorary directors are Mr. Wang Daohan and Mr. Zhuang Xiaotian. SDRF’s chief director is Mr. Sha Ling, who used to be the assistant director of Standing Committee of National People’s Congress, is SDRF’s chief director. SDRF’s daily operation is directed by Development Research Center of Shanghai People’s Government.
